About Me

Hi, I’m Farris, the founder of Balanced Bodies of SC and a passionate coach dedicated to helping women of all ages build strength, confidence, and a

lifelong love for movement. I began my journey in personal training in 2019 when I earned my ISSA certification, and since then, I’ve continued expanding my expertise. While working as a trainer, I pursued my Associate in Science degree, completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2022, and became certified in body tempering in 2023.

Through the years, I have trained in various disciplines, worked with multiple coaches and mentors, while building a deep understanding of exercise physiology and nutrition. My background in sports and personal training evolved into a passion for supporting women, especially after navigating my own challenges with gut health and hormonal imbalances following the birth of my son. Through my journey, I’ve learned the importance of stress management, nutrition, and personalized wellness—principles I now share with the women I coach to help them feel strong, confident, and in tune with their bodies.

I believe that movement is medicine—it has the power to heal, energize, and transform both body and mind. My approach focuses on sustainable, personalized training that meets you where you are, whether that means gaining confidence in the gym, improving mobility and balance, or building strength through mindful movement. Fitness should be empowering and enjoyable, and I’m here to help you create a balanced routine that fits your lifestyle.
